Yeah, but the sad thing is that the emphasis ends up on "well-meaning" when it should end up on "fools"--and they're fools because they choose to be; it's ridiculously easy to just understand what everyone keeps trying to explain to them, but as that'd require giving up that sweet, sweet privilege, they remain fools. Fools of their own design.
