"If you kick the Joker before Sauron does his eye attack, you'll win."
That was
racerxmachina's advice early Sunday morning, from the dream I had. it's odd, but after a long drought in remembering my dreams, I've been remembering more and more outlandish dreams. the common theme on this one, oddly enough was trees, though the action was all different.
Third part: The live-action video game is taking place in the multi-level yard of a victorian house, under a huge tree with wide, low branches. I've just been fighting the Joker and the Eye of Sauron (just floating there, about three feet across), and retreat, because I'm down pretty badly from the Joker. I ask RxM (who is evidently playing too, but not fighting) what to do, and she points out that Sauron is charging up his eye attack. I realize that now is the final time to attack if I want to win, so I do a flying kick to the Joker's head (KO!), while the Eye of Sauron sparks up its charge.
I know I've won now, because when the Eye explodes, it will temporarily drop to zero HP. So I do a handstand flip over the wrought Iron railing on top of the wall, and drop down to the lower garden level. I then vault down onto the sidewalk at the street level, as above and behind me the eye does it's huge explosion attack. I've won, so I go running down the street in victory, slipping and sliding on the round seed pods littering the street....
And no, I have NO idea of what symbolic import any of that may have. I just like the idea of actually fighting in a live video game.

So let's see; the first part involved RxM and I sleeping in our aunts and uncle's backyard, below the huge white spreading tree and leaf-strewn backyard path. I had to get up when RxM had a problem with the storage room full of a swarm of large orange plump beatles the size of my foot. Shutting the screen door did no good, so I had to pull down down the roll-door, kicking the bugs back inside all the time. We try to keep from waking people as we stumble around in the dark trying to get into the back room we had been in earlier. This is when uncle answers the door and says he has no idea who the creepy old hag in the back room is.
It's time to go, and everyone gives hugs, even the feral bitey kid. But then RxM leaves in the car, and I have to shuffle through the knee-high drifts of sawdust in the huge, multi-story treehouse, to pick up a few remaining things before I go. RxM drives the big tank-like van/truck backwards down the tree-lined residential street (that looks like a cross between Montecito and Pasadena), right through a construction area. The female construcion boss drops her sign and leaps out of the way, and then RxM turns and backs into a side street, where she hits a couple cars before going forward again.
