Well, once we got the fire out, and the paramedics left, and the power came back on, the hole in the floor was covered, and we rescued the cats from the pool, things went pretty smoothly.

It actually was a good shakedown cruise. The descriptive elements were appreciated, and I got a lot of good feedback on what I need to expand and write down. I was also reminded that when given a choice in a one-shot between a) going in sneakily, b) talking to allies to get a way in, or c) rushing in the front door, beating everyone up, and making a big fuss, c) should always be considered the default choice.
