How to feel 20 years older in three words:
Optometrist: "You need bifocals."
Owwwwwwww....
Yesterday was just pure exhaustion. I've been concentrating on tutoring recently, and so I have three clients, all at inconvenient hours and times. I am also moderately panicked over what materials to use with them, so I also needed yesterday to search out books for my students and also take RxM to the dentist. So, after a restless night, yesterday was a matter of running to the Optometrist, rushing to the library, dashing among three floors for reference books, running to pick RxM up, rushing her out to her appointment, rushing home to change, running out to tutoring appointment 1, back home to look for materials, rushing out to appointment, getting lost due to my Blackberry dumping the address from memory....I also found out that "Runaways" is not really a good choice for students who hate to read. I had forgotten the Sesquipedalian tendencies of some of the characters. Oh well.
I had a bunch of stuff I was going to do last night; instead I just made a tuna salad and crashed on the couch. I remember waking up long enough for RxM to tell me something about North Korea declaring war on Brazil's football team, and then I went back to sleep.
Today is easy: I have three clients and a psych appointment, but at least I only need to make one run to the library for books for my client who hates to read. Hopefully I'll get used to this ramping up of my schedule soon.
