Good info! The whole rotating-the-supply-of-stored-water thing has never been my strong suit, and so now I'm fairly pleased (and made LAZY) by the fact we have a huge in-ground pool plus a separate hot tub plus all the water purification technology a former backpacker could get her hands on. So, um... no stored water in the house, here. It's not an ideal plan but it's surprisingly good. (Pool, over thirty years old, has survived some pretty biggish ones uncracked.)

I noticed your cat food item. Yep, me too: my kitties have emergency supplies. Are we pwned by those furballs or what? :-)
