Act 1, Scene 2: Enter JULES and VINCENT

I think we should give thanks to kevin Pease of [profile] ceruleanst for this excerpt from the least known of Shakespeare's plays:

ACT I SCENE 2. A road, morning. Enter a carriage, with JULES and VINCENT, murderers.

More excellent excerpts of the play continue in the comments section, including Kevin supplying:

J: What country dost thou hail from?
B: What?
J: How passing strange, for I have traveled far,
And never have I heard tell of this What.
What language speak they in the land of What?
B: What?
J: The Queen's own English, base knave, dost thou speak it?

I can hardly wait to see a stage production of this.

Iambic pentameter... *happy sigh*

If this ever comes to anything, TELL me, I beg.

Oh, gods, I read the entire comment you quoted from. That person is brilliant... masterful... I think I have my very first Internet Boyfriend. (If it is a boy, she says. Which it might not be, says she.)

This tops my own "Beowulf in iambic pentameter" by quite a lot. Thanks for the link. Bastard. ; )
