I feel strangely good, in spite of it all...

I heard back from the place I interviewed at on Monday; they gave the position to someone else.  I really wasn't surprised, because when they mentioned "We need to make a quick decision", and "We're required to interview all candidates", I was pretty sure that they already had somebody in line for the position.

But that's OK.  the important thing is I think the interview went really well, I was cool yet enthusiastic, gave good answers, got there on time...in short, nothing went wrong.  And the people I interviewed with seemed to like me.  In fact, they said when I called, that they would not only keep my file active, but they would personally keep copies of my resume because something might open up in summer.

So I may not have gotten the job, but I'll count this as a success, as it helped me build up my confidence a bit.

Now back to planning tours.  Gosh England is a tiny place...

To explain why England is regarded as a big country, I figure that in medieval times, English horses must have had really short legs. They probably looked more like large dachshunds then horses.
