What do you do on a tedious monday?

There should be a term for the depression that comes from going in to work on the Monday after a really nice weekend.  A weekend spent in (Fri) watching anime, drinking and eating with friends, (Sat) playing video games with friends, and (Sun) having spicy ribs and mint juleps at a friend's barbecue party.  A term for the depression that comes from from looking at the work, knowing it's there, and having no enthusiasm to deal with it.

What did I do this tedious Monday?  I went shop[ping.  Specifically, I stopped at the electronics mart up the street from where I worked, which is having a moving blow-out sale.  I didn't find a cheap internal laptop DVD/CD-Rom, which is what I really need, but I DID glom onto a really cheap wireless modem that will replace my current wireless.  That is, as soon as I get my damn laptop fixed.

So, what have you all done to combat Monday tedium?

I always think of that feeling as a lesser relation to Con Letdown. It's real and nasty. But I think the solution is the same: to immediately focus on the next project or party you want to make happen. Just knowing there's something else fun on the horizon is some comfort, and moreso when there's something you can plan to make it even better.

I think that is a great thing to relate it to. I also like your solution.
