Chuck Klosterman reviews that obscure Britpop band, "The Beatles"

Like most people, I was initially confused by EMI’s decision to release remastered versions of all 13 albums by the Liverpool pop group Beatles, a 1960s band so obscure that their music is not even available on iTunes.

Well, *I* found some of their music on iTunes, so he's wrong there anyway. MUAAAHAHA! I proved someone wrong on the INTERNET!

I've had mixed feelings about the Beatles; I started off loving Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and Yellow Submarine (the movie and album), but aside from that my tolerance for them took a pretty terminal dive once I discovered Punk, and found out a bit more about Lennon. Right now there's maybe a half-dozen Beatles songs I like, a fewmore I can sing (I was chagrined to realize I was the only one who knew the lyrics to "Hey Bulldog" at the last Rock Band meeting), and I absolutely can't stand anything after a certain point where the Beatles disappeared up their collective asses.

Right now, I agree more with the the Captain, than Lennon.
