Well, the article notes it's only informally known as Tatooine.

I wish they'd create an actual naming scheme and name all these new planets something other than strings of letters or numbers.

(Although to be honest, few of us will ever really call it that, instead using the "standard" name: Kepler-16b. The stars are Kepler-16A and 16B.)
