More things I've learned.

I've learned two things at work today:

First, hiding under my desk and snarling at anyone who comes near just doesn’t work very well- people are still seeking me out, and dragging me way from my projects to work on theirs.

Second, I’ve managed to deal with the dire coffee situation at work. You see, someone comes in before me and makes coffee- at least I think that faintly brown stuff is coffee- but one shouldn’t be able to read newsprint through a pot of coffee. Maybe someone just dipped a brown crayon in water.

So I finally hit on a solution; I take the filter cup, place it on my travel mug, and pour the hot “coffee-Lite™” in and let it drip through the grounds again. And if necessary, a third time. Ahh…halfway strong coffee. If my head reflexively snaps back when I take a taste, then it’s getting somewhere.

This coffee- I think its making me stronger, as I stil under my desk growling.

You can probably buy one of those coffee press things at your local Starbucks and make, gasp, decent coffee. At your desk. With just hot water and whatever coffee you bring in. Hubby does that at his work.

The term is French press, and girl, you're brilliant.

"If my head snaps back reflexively..." Dude, you're hardcore!
