For the Dems:

I have the perfect response to those constituents of House Majority leader-to-be Pelosi, who are already calling for her to waste political capital and time on trying to impeach the president. Even if it would work, I have three words that will make hte most fevered liberal back down.

Three words:

President Dick Cheney.

Even if it's only for five minutes before he disappears into a cloud of inky black smoke, that's really not something even the rabid San Francisco folks want to consider, right?

And for the Reps:

It's not like the GoP is actually blaming George Bush for the election debacle. Oh, no. Nor do they see him now as a political liability. Perish the thought. But on the other hand, Cheney IS inviting George along on his next hunting trip...

"But Mr. Cheney...the talk of impeachment, and investigative committees, and my having to veto stuff and..."
