So given this is a week where dirty tricks out of the Karl Rove playbook like this, this and this have backfired on the Republican party, and Palin's "real vs. fake Americans" speech was easily rebutted at cost to her own popularity...

...does anyone else get the feeling that McCain's campaign manager is screaming "INCONCEIVABLE!"

Indeed. While still a bit nerve-wracking, the continual series of Republican screw-ups of this sort is starting to make this election cycle actually enjoyable.
