OK! Another position test comes up!

I just got word that I've been accepted to take the test for an Appraiser position for Santa Clara County.

This is the first step in the process for getting a job as an Appraiser for SCC...and unlike the test for the library position (which I heard about the night before), this time I have over two weeks notice before the test. That's time enough to actually do some studying and be prepared. So, it's time to hit the library and do my homework. This time, I'm going to go into the test prepared and ready.

Thanks! We definitely do need to talk- in the meantime, I will be checking out the appraiser tests from the public library and bookstores.

Fortunately one of my strong suits is calculation, including area and compound interest (I tend to keep my hand in through my hobbies, oddly enough). I also tend to do well in these sorts of tests- but the library test gave me notice that these tests are very difficult (note to self: get adequate sleep on the day of the test).

And thanks again- I'm determined I will come through this with flying colors.
