Dancing Epiphany
I always wondered how the people back in the pre-aerobic days managed to stay as fit as they did, without diet plans, exercises targeted to muscle groups, and all that. After the lesson last night, I have a pretty good idea.
They danced.
Unlike the exercise in frustration that was the group instruction the other week, our free private lesson was brilliant.
racerxmachina and I fitted together and moved perfectly, and after the instructor showed us how to stand properly, my arm didn't even get stiff from being held out. It was a very basic lesson, but it went splendidly, and was a LOT of fun.
So, in the upcoming year, we are going to take the private lesson course, and begin dancing regularly. It's going to be a fun hobby to do together.

Which dance(s) are you doing? Or is it a selection?
And why do you have a "Cosplay Magic" google ad on this post... :)

We were doing the waltz, and according to the instructor, if one was positioning the arms correctly in the frame, the weight should be on the shoulders. If that's wrong, I still appreciated it because I hate holding my arms out like that.

The frame is odd to start with and takes a bit of getting used to though it does get easier with time. I think the waltz is still my favourite of the dances we have studied so far.
