Resolutions made during the plague
Jan. 4th, 2010 11:12 pmEverything right now is pretty much on hold, due to my having a really nasty sinus/chest flu. And it's not like I like making resolutions in the first place, so I'm tempted to let the whole thing slide.
But on the other hand, I do have some goals for the coming year, pretty simply ones that I intend to keep. So let's see...
1. Get a job that pays enough for us to get back to a more normal existance. As soon as possible.
2. Lose weight: a minimum of 10 pounds, and a goal of 25 lbs. To do this, I will:
3. Get back on track with my execise program; a minimum of a half hour, three times a week...on any week I'm not sick.
4. Get back to reading more novels. Minimum of 24 over the course of the year, with a goal of 40.
5. 500 words a day minimum of writing or journaling, replies not included.Maybe days off for illness, but not for excuses.
So that's about it. Nothing impossible, no expectation of changing my life massively. Just some goals I think I can keep. Let's see how well I do.
