Two Interesting Facts

1. Fire engines are equipped with the auomatic gate opener that allows them to enter our apartment complex; police cars are not.

2. At least some police officers didn't know that fact, nor that you need the opener to get out.

The police officer evidently didn't find the arrangement as secure as the apartment management does, especially the "can't get out" part.
