Seriously, it has. It started with a problem where first the laptop, than the desktop couldn't recognize the router. A new router and lots of conversations with Comcast tech support has so far failed to fix the problem.

Then last night we got the damn "Windows Defender" virus, and even after a command-screen based clean-up, we have a RUNDLL32.EXE error. A rundll32 error that actually prevents me from opening the downloaded registry cleaner programs designed to fix the rundll32 problem.

I'm now going to have to do a process involving repeated selective startups and selecting different options. If that doesn't work, I need to see if we have the boot or repair disk. If THAT doesn't fix it, we may need to take it to a professional.

*sigh* There goes the time I was going to spend on this weekend's game.
