Cat Touchdown!
Dec. 3rd, 2006 11:38 pmIts been a long day. We left Mom's by 11:00, jetted down to L.A., picked up two beautiful kitties, and then took the I-5 back up to San Jose. RXM hought it would take 8 hours, I thought tii would take 6; the trip compromised by making it seven hours of driving. I'm jealous that RxM got to spend more time of the trip in the back seat, holding and petting the kitties.
At this point, the travel carrier is sitting in our bedroom, with the door wide open. The kitties are sitting in there, staring at my typing with wide-open eyes. Occasionally one of the bells on their collars jingles as they shift position, but so far they've done no more then poke their head out a bit. I suspect that as soon as I turn the ligh out, they'll start prowling.
They really are wonderful kittens.
