It's a change from my cold attitude...

But now I go to work and I feel all warm and comfortable.

Unfortunately, it's got nothing to do with my actually work or relationship with my boss, and EVERYTHING to do with the cheap space heater I bought yesterday and installed under my desk. Hey, work sucks, but at least my feet are toasty warm and notice cold for the first time in weeks.

And maybe, just maybe, the really cheap heater will set something on fire under the desk. There's that to look forward to foor this holiday season.

It's a sad, terrible thing.

I never thought I'd actually say it.

Or really, that I'd have to. 

After the rumor that Keanu Reeves was planning to create a live-action "Cowboy Bebop" movie hit Metafilter:

Frank Miller's Buck Rogers...oh dear.

OK, now it's time for me to turn my nerd rage up to 11: Frank Miller to Direct "Buck Rogers" movie

I mean, I'm not even all that big a fan of Buck Rogers (though I used to like watching the serials), but I can only imagine what Mr. "Whores! Whores!  hoores! " will do to that classic SF property.

No wait, I don't have to.  The quote below tells me everything I need to know:
