After the wedding...
Jan. 24th, 2005 12:44 amWow.
Just wow.
It's been the two longest, the two most wonderful days of my life. The odyssey that started a little over two years ago when I proposed to Sandy has, despite all odds and expectations, finished in a wildly successful fashion. I never anticipated that our wedding would run so smoothly, be so moving, and frankly, turn out so perfect. The wedding and the day after exceeded all of my hopes.
By far the best thing (besides seeing Sandy come down the aisle in her wedding dress) was the presence of our friends and loved ones there- our minister, our families, and our friends. Without the support and love of the people around us, this day may have come, but it would have been nowhere near as sweet.
The last two days have been a wonder, and I'm still processing all that happened. All I can really conclude at this point is that this has been a wonderful start to the next phase of our lives together- both SAndy and I, and the two of us and our friends.
I'm looking forward to it.
